The DG Project aims to build stronger decentralized development initiatives that are responsive to the needs of local communities. It aims to establish the foundations for stronger federal-type regional governance.

Area/Locality of Implementation: Davao Oriental and Davao del Norte
Key accomplishments to date:
- Organized provincial CSO network in Davao del Norte and Davao Oriental
- Strengthened CSO participation in local special bodies, LPRAT/RPRAT and enhanced coordination, networking and partnership with government line agencies and LGUs through capacity development programs
- Crafted a regional poverty reduction and development agenda (RPRDA) through multi-sectoral provincial and regional consultations with CSOs. The provincial CSO networks work for the realization of the RPRDA.
